Restoring the Time traveling English teacher’s life

May sat at her computer, scrolling through her list of online English conversation students, when she saw a new name pop up: Ken. It was an unusual name, and she wondered who he was. She clicked on his profile and read through his introduction. As she scanned through his profile, she saw that he was interested in talking about life and death. May felt a chill run down her spine. She couldn’t help but think of her mother, who had died nine years ago in a car accident.

Curiosity got the better of her, and she messaged Ken to schedule a conversation. They started talking about their interests and hobbies, but as the conversation went on, May couldn’t resist asking Ken about his fascination with life and death. Ken hesitated before telling her that he had a feeling that he was meant to help someone avoid a tragic fate. May was intrigued and asked him what he meant.

Ken explained that during his online English conversations with a teacher named Jane, he had noticed that she would disappear after a certain time, as if she was going somewhere else. He had a hunch that something strange was going on and that he might be able to help her. May felt her heart race as Ken described Jane. Could it be her mother?

She knew it was a long shot, but May couldn’t help feeling drawn to the possibility. She asked Ken more about Jane, and he told her that she lived in the 2013 timeline and that he had no idea how she was connecting to their conversations in 2023. He also mentioned that Jane seemed to be stuck in a certain time frame during their conversations, as if she didn’t know what was going on.

May felt a surge of hope. It was a long shot, but maybe she could use her knowledge of the future to help Jane. She asked Ken to give her any details he could about Jane’s life and promised to try to figure out a way to help her.

Over the next few days, May spent all of her free time researching ways to change the past. She felt a sense of urgency, knowing that time was running out. She finally stumbled upon a theory that suggested that small changes in the past could have a ripple effect on the future.

May formulated a plan. She would connect with Jane during one of her online English conversations, pretend to be a student, and try to subtly nudge her towards making different choices. It was risky, but May was determined to save her mother.

The night of the conversation arrived, and May felt her heart racing. She logged onto the chat room and waited for Jane to appear. When she finally did, May felt a jolt of recognition. It was her mother, alive and young. She held her breath, not wanting to give away her true identity.

As the conversation progressed, May carefully steered the topic towards safety and caution. She asked Jane if she always wore her seatbelt in the car, and suggested that it was important to be careful on the roads. She talked about the dangers of distracted driving and reminded Jane to always be focused on the road.

As the conversation ended, May felt a sense of hope. She had done all she could, and now it was up to fate. She couldn’t shake the feeling that she had made a difference, that somehow her small actions had changed the course of her mother’s life.

Weeks turned into months, and May waited anxiously for news. Finally, one day, she received a message from Ken. It was short and to the point: “Jane is alive.”

May couldn’t believe it. She felt a sense of overwhelming joy and relief wash over her. She had done it. She had saved her mother.
